Annual Wine Tasting & Silent Auction
Leave it to our own organization to plan a creative event to raise funds, increase our membership, and allow us to spend an evening wine tasting, dining, and getting caught up with each other! On April 23, the LCWN held their annual wine tasting fundraiser at Sheryl and Bob Reid's home. As our fund raising chair, Mikal Fonseca coordinated another special event providing our members and their guests with a wide array of donated foods along with an excellent selection of wines from Ruidoso's Willmon Vineyards. Mikal was assisted by numerous LCWN members, including Dee Dutton, Sharon Clark, Louise Hudson and others,
who helped coordinate the event and brought a fabulous selection of delicious foods and desserts for guests. Throughout the evening, we had the opportunity to view and bid on a large assortment of silent auction items.
Our fund raising committee is proud to announce that the LCWN has once again successfully completed our yearly fund raising efforts while we enjoyed the evening and raised over $3,000 for our scholarship fund and Mentoring Program. We hope our guests for the evening will elect to join our organization as well.
