ImageMy name is L'Deana Coffer and I am a Tatum high school graduate. I am currently a LCWN scholarship recipient. I am currently considered a sophomore at USW. Over the last couple of years I have accumulated 125 community service hours. I love doing things that can help my community and make a difference in others’ lives.

As an honors student all through high school I try to keep that going here at the college level. I was named as one of the students on the Dean's list at USW because of my high GPA. Starting off my freshman year I played volleyball for the Lady mustangs. I am no longer playing sports but I do help in my community with the younger athletes. I strive to do my best in everything I do. Many of my teachers from high school and my college have said I am a hard worker and excellent student and I hope to continue to be seen in that way. As of now I have a 3.889 GPA,

I am currently working on a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology. I chose this career because I have found that I am not only interested in Psychology but in Criminal Justice too. I find both fields very exciting and I have learned so much so far. I hope to finish with my bachelors and start working a little as I beginning working towards my Masters and then a PhD. After I finish I hope to begin working immediately.

I appreciate the help and support I have received from the Lea County Women's Network. I had a semester so far and had a great time with you all at the luncheons and hope to see you all again this next semester. I thank you for giving me the opportunity to re-apply for the 2013 spring semester.
